On May 4, the maiden voyage ceremony was held at Pazhou Port in Guangzhou. At 10:30 a.m., with a long whistle, the passenger ship 'Haizhu Lake' slowly left the Pazhou Port in Guangzhou and set sail for China-Hong Kong City, marking the key projects of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City, a landmark new water cross-border channel and transportation and tourism hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the only water national gateway in the central urban area of Guangzhou - Pazhou Ferry Terminal Guangzhou, officially put into operation.The opening of the Pazhou Ferry Terminal Guangzhou not only fills the gap of the water cross-border port in the central urban area of Guangzhou, but also realizes the seamless connection of three-dimensional traffic in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, greatly enhancing regional cohesion and radiation. Governor of Guangdong Province Wang Weizhong attended and announced the official opening of the Pazhou Ferry Terminal Guangzhou. Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Li Jiachao delivered a video speech. Vice Governor Lv Yuyin and Mayor of Guangzhou Guo Yonghang attended the event and delivered speeches. Relevant responsible persons of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, the Transport and Logistics Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as well as officials from relevant units of the Central Government in Guangdong, Guangdong Provincial, and Guangzhou municipalities directly attended the event. As the overall contractor of Pazhou Ferry Terminal Guangzhou, Maxvision Technology was invited to participate in the maiden voyage ceremony.

On April 14, pilot voyages between Pazhou Port and Tsim Sha Tsui China Ferry Terminal were launched. On April 28, pilot voyages of the 'Ship-to-Flight Combined Transport' round-trip route directly to Hong Kong International Airport were added. Passengers can pre-process the boarding and luggage check-in procedures for Hong Kong International Airport at Pazhou Port. When they arrive at Hong Kong International Airport, they can board the plane directly. The whole process takes only 2 hours, and they can experience the fast travel service of 'holding tickets in Guangzhou and boarding in Hong Kong'. Next, the Pazhou Ferry Terminal Guangzhou will open more round routes of Macao International Airport.
