In the morning of August 16, 2023, The 7th China-South Asia Exposition themed on “Solidarity and Coordination for Common Development” had the opening ceremony in Kunming City, Yunnan Province. Wang Yi, who was the Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, the Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, and the Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the opening ceremony, and made a speech. 

The 7th China-South Asia Exposition was held jointly by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province, and sponsored jointly by inviting the commerce departments of countries of South Asia. The 7th China-South Asia Exposition on August 16-20, 2023 realizes the full coverage for countries of South Asia, countries of Southeast Asia, and membership countries of the “Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership” (RCEP), and is one of the significant economic and trade exchange activities between China and the countries of South Asia in 2023. The 7th China-South Asia Exposition, which has 15 exhibition halls, will hold 14 sessions of activities to promote the continuous development of economic and trade cooperation between China and the countries of South Asia. In the 2# hall i.e. Port Economy Hall, Maxvision Technology Corp., as the leading enterprise of port industry, by circling around the business highlights of smart port, comprehensively displayed its advanced experiences and successful cases about developing port economy in the fields of air transport, land transport and water transport for the participants, and mainly displayed its successful cases about smart port overall solutions and construction of multiple international land transport smart ports in Yunnan regions.
