The China-Laos Railway International Passenger Train adopts the port clearance way of “Two Inspections at Two Places”. With the International Passenger Train from Kunming South to Vientiane as an example, the specific port clearance process is, after the Train arrives at the China Railway port station Mohan Station, the cross-border passengers shall take all luggage to get down, enter the exit joint inspection area, cooperate with the Chinese Customs personnel to complete the exit joint inspection, and then return to the Train continuing the journey. When the Train operates to the Laos Railway port station Boten Station, the passengers shall take all luggage to get down, enter the entry joint inspection area, cooperate with the Laotian Customs personnel to complete the entry joint inspection, then the passengers whose arriving station is Boten can get out of the station; while the passengers whose arriving stations are other Laotian stations can return to the Train continuing the journey. The port clearance process of the International Passenger Train from Vientiane to Kunming South is the same.
